Ethical Packaging & Delivery
We believe packaging should protect your food without harming the planet. Thatβs why all of our materials are non-toxic, recycled, and either recyclable or compostable.
- Meal Trays: Made from bagasse (a sugarcane fibre) with a plant-starch lining. Our double-meal trays use aluminium, which can be rinsed and infinitely recycled.
- Top Film: Biodegradable and breaks down naturally in general waste.
- Kraft Meal Sleeves: Fully recyclable.
- Delivery Boxes: 100% recyclable and biodegradable β breaking down naturally within 7β12 weeks.
- Thermal Liners: Vegan recycled denim liners, 100% biodegradable within 6β12 months. Recycle the outer sleeve and compost or dispose of the liner responsibly.
- Dry Ice: We use dry ice to keep meals frozen in transit, through Nippon, a platinum medalist in EcoVadisβ sustainability ranking.

We've had a number of different meals from POW, and they're all super tasty and delicious without being too salty, which is a revelation. Even our 7 year old likes them, which given that they're probably aimed at a more complex adult palate (and that she's pretty fussy) is amazing in itself.

It doesnβt taste like a ready meal at all, it actually tastes like healthy, real food. I also prefer the fact it comes frozen so I have more control over when I eat each meal without having to throw anything away.
